Expressions of interest - Mr Ball Pit Franchise

Since the establishment of Mr Ball Pitt in Sydney in August 2008 we have been receiving an increasing number of demands for our toy hire services. Initially the requests came from the southern parts of Sydney but quickly spread to the NSW Central Coast, Illawarra, Blue Mountain, Southern Highlands and Southern NSW.

As with any other business in Australia and around the world we have flourished through the current global financial crisis and came out on top. In fact the financial crisis had little effect on us with parents placing their chiildrens needs first and foremost.

In addition we have received many enquiries from Victoria, Queensland and South Australia for services and franchise . Recently we were pleasantly surprised to receive enquiries for franchise from the UK.

Every week we receive requests from interstate and areas of NSW in which we do not offer our services. There is obviously a demand in areas in which we do not advertise.

Michael and Cheree are devoted parents who understand the importance of movement skills amongst young children.

The importance of encouraging physical activity at an early age is well documented. Young children gain greater benefit from exercise sessions that both excite and challenge them with fun, physical activities.

Cheree - is a diploma trained child care worker with 8 years experience. 

Michael - is a qualified youth worker with 5 years experience.

Cheree and Michael also have party equipment and function packs to further promote physical activity. These packs are also available for hire.

Mr Ball Pit Toy Hire is about improving childrens key developmental areas in a fun environment

Mr Ball Pit Toy Hire was created to help improve the foundations of movement. To promote physical activity amongst children of all ages and to create fun using educational party toys and equipment.

Michael and Sheree, both professional child care or youth workers have been noticing some disturbing issues in their dealings with children. They observed confidence and self esteem issues. Fine and gross motor skills weren't as well developed as one would normally expect for the childs age group. Childrens social interaction with their peers left a lot to be desired, a cause for concern.

Physical Activity

Many children weren't involved in any sport or physical activity and spent much of their time on computers, playing computer games or watching television. In the past some of Australias sporting organisations (Cricket, Olympic Committee) have also expressed concern that Australias superiority in the sporting arena will gradually disappear in the not too distant future if these issues aren't addressed.

Both Sheree and Michael were spending long hours working when they should have been spending some of that time with their children, this is common these days with young families. Michael set about researching this issue and found that the high incidence of single parent families also contributes to the problem.

Childrens services

Mr Ball Pit Toy Hire is the result of Michaels research. He can now offer services for children which offer the hire of play, party toys and equipment which are both educational and address childrens motor skills development. Michael can now provide programmes which can be incorporated into play group activities, kindergartens, parties and any other type of gatherings which also improves childrens motor skills and confidence. The toys and equipment can also be used at a private residence or a location of your choice.
