The jumping castles accommodate children between the ages of three and eight years of age. Jumping castles accommodate children in all types of events such as kids birthday parties, Christmas parties, fetes, carnivals, corporate functions or any other type of function you have in mind.

The Australian Standards requirement is that jumping castles be used by children three years and above.

Mr Ball Pit SAFETY Standards

Mr Ball Pit recommends that the weight safety factor of 360 kg maximum be adhered to by ALL our clients. This weight factor stipulated by the jumping castle manufacturers is more accurate and important for the protection of your child than an age limit which is a general guideline only. We require all our clients to adhere to the usage guidelines which are clearly seen on each jumping castle.

Adults should NOT use these jumping castles with the exception of supervision only.

Mr Ball Pit installation requirements

Mr Ball Pit takes that extra step to make sure the equipment installation is as safe as possible.

• Our extension cords have clip lock plug protectors which are are water proof and difficult for children.
• All electrical leads are checked and given a certification tag by a qualified electrician. 
• There are 8 staked or weighted points on the jumping castle for extra safety.
• Safety instructions are attached to the front of each castle for all to read.
• Our staff will take you through all safety requirements before the jumping castle is used.
• Please note that an adult is required to supervise any activity on the castle at all times.
• A supervisor can be provided at extra cost.

Q1. How much space is needed to set up a jumping castle?

The jumping castles are 4m by 4m is size we ask that a 5m by 5m area is cleared to have sufficient room to place to castle. The new mini jumping castles require an area of three square metres which means they can be installed in the smallest of areas.

Q2. How long is set up and pack up time?

Set up time is about 10-15min. The dismantle of the jumping castle is also about 10-15min. These times depend on our access. If there are flights of stairs or access is difficult please inform buzzing with energy at the time of booking as units are heavy and movement is limit.

Q3. Can we hire a supervisor?

Yes, Mr Ball Pit can provide a supervisor for supervised play for any party, function or corporate function if required. A supervisor can be hired at $30 an hour.

Q4. What is the age limit for the jumping castles?

The jumping castles can hold up to ten year olds. We recommend three - eight year olds. With up to eight kids on the jumping castle at one time. This will vary depending on the size and weight of the kids. The maximum weight of 360 kg being the most accurate and important factor.

Q5. Can food and drink be consumed whilst the children are playing on the equipment?

No, no food, drinks or lollies is allowed while in the castle or while using any of the other toys. This just makes for extra cleaning. If kids are found to have been eating and drinking in the castle an extra cleaning fee will apply.

Q6. What surface requirements are needed to setup a jumping castle?

It is required that you have a surface as flat as possible for the jumping castle. If it is going to be set up on solid ground please make sure there are no Sharpe or pointy objects that could damage the jumping castle.
